How to Apply GYEON Wax
Wash and dry the vehicle. Remove loose dirt first, then address bonded contamination where needed. The paint should feel clean before waxing.
Prepare for your chosen use. On unprotected paint, remove oily residue with a suitable preparation product. For an existing ceramic coating, follow its approved cleaning and curing requirements.
Load the applicator. Twist the base to expose a small amount of wax. Wipe the applicator across it lightly; do not rub the open tube directly against the vehicle.
Apply a thin, even film. Work over cool, dry panels in the shade. Use overlapping movements and spread the wax far enough to avoid thick, white deposits.
Wait before removal. Leave the applied layer for at least 30 minutes. Preparation and this waiting period are part of the process, so allow enough time for the job.
Buff to a clear finish. Remove residue with a clean microfiber, turning to a fresh side frequently. Inspect edges and panel gaps for remaining wax.
Tips for an Even Finish
More wax means more residue to remove. A thin, consistent application is easier to finish cleanly.
Do not apply to a ceramic coating that is still curing; follow the coating maker's required wait before topping.
This is a gloss-enhancing product. Choose a finish-specific alternative for matte or satin surfaces.
Wax does not remove scratches, oxidation or etched water spots. Address those issues separately before protection.

Can I put it over ceramic-coated paint?
Yes, provided the coating has fully cured and its maintenance instructions allow a wax topper. The wax becomes the exposed surface, so its water behaviour may temporarily replace that of the underlying coating.
Do I have to machine polish first?
No. Polishing is useful when you want to correct paint defects, but it is not automatically required for every wax application. Clean, properly prepared paint is the starting point.
How long will one application last?
GYEON publishes a maximum of 6 months or 3,000km. Outdoor exposure, washing products and vehicle use can shorten that considerably. Inspect the finish during maintenance rather than relying only on a calendar.
Can I use this wax on the windshield?

Yes, they're fully compatible, as long as you let the ceramic coating cure for at least a week before layering it with Q2 Wax.
It's recommended to quickly wax the front ends of your vehicle before a road trip (safe on PPF). This will make bugs come off that much quicker.
Yes it's fine, if this were filled in a regular tin can, it wouldn't crack as easily. Since it's in a tube that can be shifted up and down, this may cause the wax to crack, but it will not affect its application or performance whatsoever. It doesn't imply that the solvents are dry.
