Thai Slickness was developed for hot, dusty, and high-humidity environments such as those commonly experienced in Thailand. In such conditions, coating performance is often associated with retained slickness, although slickness can become difficult to maintain or perceive at high temperatures.

KATIBA developed Thai Slickness to help maintain coating performance and surface slickness even under high-temperature conditions. The slick surface helps reduce fine dust adhesion, allows dust to release more easily during driving, promotes rapid water runoff during heavy rain, and helps minimize water spotting afterward.
