Easily removes iron particles
IronX works by creating a water-soluble complex with iron particles lodged in the surface, facilitating their removal through rinsing. This process provides a deeper cleaning compared to washing or claying alone.
The new formula with Lemon Scent features a much reduced chemical odor compared to others on the market.
Safe and pH Neutral
IronX features an advanced pH-balanced (pH-7) formula that safely breaks down ferrous metallic contamination caused by automotive brakes, rail travel, and construction from delicate vehicle surfaces. It can be used on paint, plastic, chrome, glass, and alloy wheels.
Removes browning
A potent tire cleaner designed to eliminate all browning, and it's safe for use on white walls.
Wheel Ceramic
DLUX is heat-resistant and can be applied to wheels, brake calipers, and exhaust tips.
SiO2 Tire Coating
A durable SiO2 tire dressing that can last for up to 3 months.
Strong and fast decon
Use CARPRO IronX as part of the chemical decontamination process, right before the initial wash. Always work on a cool panel and avoid direct sunlight. On hot days, work in sections and do not allow the product to dry.
It's important to note that IronX does not replace clay bars but complements them. IronX helps remove the majority of contaminants, making the clay bar process safer.

Fast-cutting compound for automotive paint correction
CARPRO ClearCut is a cutting compound for machine-polishing automotive paint. It combines rapid defect removal with low dusting, making it a practical first step when a finishing polish alone is not enough. Use it to tackle visible paint defects before refining the finish and applying your chosen protection.
Why choose ClearCut?
- Strong, fast cutting action with low dust generation.
- Formulated without wax, silicone or fillers; suitable for body-shop use.
- Works with dual-action and rotary polishers.
- CARPRO states that it can remove P1000 sanding marks with an appropriate polishing combination.
- Useful as the cutting stage in a two-step correction; some medium-to-hard paints may achieve an acceptable finish in one step.
Choosing your polishing process
The right result depends on the paint, pad and technique, not just the compound. Start with a small test section and inspect it under good lighting before working around the vehicle. Softer or dark paint may benefit from a separate finishing-polish stage to refine haze and maximise clarity. Deep scratches are not always safe to remove completely: preserve the remaining paint rather than chasing every mark.
ClearCut belongs in the paint-correction stage of a detailing process. Wash and decontaminate the vehicle first, then work on clean paint with a suitable polishing pad. It is a compound, not a protective wax or ceramic coating. After correction, follow the preparation requirements of the wax, sealant or coating you intend to apply.
Application guidance
Begin with a clean, dry pad, lightly prime it with compound, then add 3–4 small drops. Spread over a manageable area. With a dual-action machine, use medium-to-high speed, beginning with light pressure and increasing gradually. With a rotary, keep speed low, at no more than 1,000–1,200 RPM, and begin with very light pressure. Wipe off when the defects are corrected or the compound becomes clear, then clean the pad before continuing.
For subsequent sections, CARPRO recommends 2–4 small drops. Follow the machine and pad manufacturers’ guidance, inspect your test section and adjust your approach to the paint. Keep pads clean throughout the job.
Available sizes
Choose 250ml, 500ml or 1L to suit your detailing workload. Polisher, pads and towels are sold separately.
Iron removers are not meant to replace clay barring but to complement it. Iron remover will eliminate the majority of iron contaminants, making clay barring safer. A clay bar will not pick up as much contaminants and grit, reducing the risk of scratching the paint.
IronX is also excellent for decontaminating hard-to-reach areas, cracks, and crevices. It's a must for removing iron from complex areas such as wheels, rotors, brake calipers, etc.
You can use CARPRO IronX on all exterior surfaces: PPF, plastics, glass, rubber trims, wheels, aluminum, painted surfaces, and metal surfaces.
Always use IronX on cool surfaces. The reason is, you don't want the product to evaporate before it can chemically react with the iron fillings to bleed them off. And you don't want the 'purple' to dry on the surface.
It does have a 'funky' smell, but don't worry, it's not toxic.
They share the majority of base chemistry and have equal potency. The only difference is that 'Lemon Scent' has an even less intrusive smell.
