DarkSide's 60% polydimethylsiloxane formula allows for a super quick and easy application with our dedicated tire or microfiber applicators, leaving a beautiful satin shine. Needless to say, it is equipped with all of our famous self-cleaning, hydrophobic properties, as well as UV and chemical resistance, prolonging the new look of your tires.
Every quick application of DarkSide will last up to 3 months!
Hydrophobic
DarkSide not only dresses and restores; it also provides a very high degree of water beading effect, keeping your tires cleaner by automatically repelling dirt and soils.
Once applied, it will provide a factory OEM satin finish without being overly greasy.
Tire Cleaner
Make sure to clean your tires well and remove all the old dressing and browning before applying Darkside.
Premium Wheel Brushes
CARPRO's low-profile wheel brushes will get into all the nooks and crannies.
Water-based dressing
Dilutable dressing for tires, rubber, plastics, and leather. Protects and restores.
Preparation
Preparation is key; the cleaner the surface, the better any product will bond and perform.
- Clean and dry tyres thoroughly with CARPRO Retyre.
- Squirt DarkSide 2-3 times on a tyre applicator or CARPRO MF Applicator and apply evenly over the tyre wall.
- Avoid water contact and allow to dry for 1-2 hours.
- Layerable after 1-2 hours.

Directions:
- Clean and dry tyres thoroughly with CARPRO ReTyre.
- Squirt DarkSide 2-3 times on a tyre applicator or CARPRO MF Applicator and apply evenly over the tyre wall.
- Avoid water contact and allow to dry for 1-2 hours.
When properly applied (we recommend two coats), it will last up to 10 washes, translating to 2-3 months of durability.
CARPRO Darkside will produce a satin finish but can be further buffed down to a light satin. It will dull down over time to a deep matte finish.
No, it will not sling. The reason why something will sling is if too much product is applied without buffing it down. Also, ensure there are no products in the tire treads; make sure those are cleaned up as well.
Perl is water-based and can be safely used on the interior surfaces of your vehicle, even on leather. DarkSide, on the other hand, should only be used on exterior surfaces such as tires.
