CQUARTZ UK 4.0 leaves paint glossier and slicker, improves resistance to water spots and offers up to 3 years of protection. You’ll also notice the difference during installation. The formula dries more slowly, giving you more time to level each panel and reducing the chance of leaving high spots.
We still carry UK 3.0 alongside UK 4.0. Its proven resistance to road salt and wash chemicals makes it a good choice for a daily driver that sees winter roads.
CARPRO CQUARTZ UK 4.0 is the fourth generation of CQUARTZ UK, reformulated for greater gloss, a slicker finish and a more relaxed installation. An advanced blend of hybrid synthetic polymers improves water-spot resistance, with manufacturer-rated durability of up to three years.

Preparation and Application
These general coating practices complement, rather than replace, the UK 4.0 application guide.
- Wash and decontaminate the intended surface with products suitable for its finish. Confirm that the surface is approved for UK 4.0.
- Where appropriate, complete any required paint correction before coating. Remove polishing oils and residue with a compatible preparation product.
- Apply in manageable sections using the applicator and method specified by CARPRO. Work under good lighting so you can check coverage and spot excess coating.
- Follow the UK 4.0 directions for levelling, additional layers, initial water exposure and curing. Use instructions for this version rather than timing recommendations for an earlier CQUARTZ UK formula.
Ceramic Coating Aftercare
Once the specified curing period is complete, wash regularly with a coating-compatible shampoo and clean wash media. Use a clean microfiber drying towel to remove remaining water. Address contamination with products suitable for the coating and underlying finish instead of aggressive scrubbing. The up-to-three-year rating is not a maintenance-free guarantee; preparation, use and ongoing care all influence performance.
