PH Neutral Tar Remover
Unlike most tar removers, Gyeon Tar does not impact any exterior surfaces and is safe for bodywork. It is suitable for use on paint, glass, and plastic trim (both painted and unpainted). Being pH neutral, it can also be used to remove tar spots from bare polished lips or ceramic-coated vehicles.
Efficient & Safe
Over time, vehicles tend to accumulate significant amounts of tar and road contamination. Gyeon Tar expedites the decontamination process by dissolving the majority of tar and contaminants, making your claying process easier and safer. Fewer contaminants result in a reduced chance of marring the paint.
GYEON IRON
To enhance the effectiveness of decontamination, use Gyeon Iron in combination
Bug & Grime
An efficient and safer way to remove bugs and grime from painted, coated, and PPF surfaces.
SILKMITT EVO
For more substantial decontamination, use SilkMitt EVO for a final wipe-off before rinsing.
Remove Adhesive and Tar
Gyeon Tar is exceptionally effective in removing adhesive residues, efficiently dissolving organic contaminants and glues. Work on one panel at a time, ensuring the product does not dry on the surface. Be extra cautious when working on PPF (recommended 30 seconds dwell time only).
TIP: Prepare a bucket with hot water and use a soaked Q²M SilkMitt to enhance contamination removal. Wash the car once the work is completed.

PREVENTS CLAY-MARRING
On soft or medium hard paints even the use of a mild clay may result in marring. As most contamination can be dissolved by combined usage of Q²M Tar and Q²M Iron, this product is also a great help in the maintenance of cars, which have had paint correction done in the past. It allows you to remove pollution, without leaving blemishes or scratches that otherwise would have to be removed by polishing. It does not affect the coatings hydrophobicity and durability.
SPEED UP THE DETAILING PROCESS
Vehicles usually collect large amounts of tar and asphalt contamination during everyday use. The stronger the horsepower and the more aggressively a car is driven, the bigger an issue it becomes. Q²M Tar provides a great opportunity to speed things up as usually an overall decontamination process, which includes claying, takes a lot of time. Most contamination is simply dissolved, which allows you to obtain a smooth finish in nearly no time.
ADVICE ON APPLICATION AND PRECAUTIONS
Wash the whole bodywork with an HQ car shampoo, rinse well and spray generously with Q²M Tar. Wait for approx. 2-4 minutes and either wash away or wipe with a damp MF cloth until the surface remains perfectly smooth. Not safe on PPF, exposed plastics and rubber. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid applying in direct sunlight.

We recommend avoiding spraying it on decorations. If you accidentally spray some on, rinse it off immediately
It is a solvent product, so there's a high chance it will damage the trigger. We recommend removing the sprayer, rinsing it, and putting the cap back on after use.
