Adam’s Tire & Rubber Cleaner was formulated to remove stubborn grease and discoloration from tires and rubber trim, hoses, etc. While Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner is an effective cleaner/degreaser, this formula was specifically designed for rubber and plastic.

It’s extremely effective! Adam's Tire & Rubber Cleaner deep clean tires and removes baked on tire dressing, blooming and discoloration. It effectively removes oxidation, wax, and polish residue from rubber and plastic trim parts as well.

How to use

1. Let the tires cool, rinse away loose dirt and test any unfamiliar rubber surface.
2. Apply Tire & Rubber Cleaner to the sidewall and agitate with a dedicated tire brush. Keep tire-cleaning tools separate from wheel-face and paint tools.
3. Rinse thoroughly before the product dries. If brown residue remains, repeat a controlled cleaning cycle rather than extending contact indefinitely.
4. Let the tire and wheel-bead area dry completely before applying dressing to the sidewall.

Aftercare and maintenance

Clean wheels regularly to limit baked-on brake dust. Rinse brushes and store them separately from paint-care tools. Apply tire dressing only to clean, dry sidewalls and keep it away from tire tread and braking components.

Does tire cleaner add shine?

It prepares a clean rubber surface. Apply a suitable tire dressing afterward if you want a satin or glossy appearance, keeping it off the tread and brakes.
