This corded SK Pro 15mm has a 5-inch backing plate and detachable cord. The optional 6-inch plate is not included; use only a plate approved for this model.

How to use

  1. Wash, decontaminate and dry the vehicle, then mask sensitive edges and trim. Read the operating instructions for this specific Swirl Killer model.
  2. Disconnect power or remove the battery before fitting the correct backing plate and pad. Centre the pad and check that it is secure.
  3. Test a small section with a suitable polish and pad. Spread product at low speed, then use controlled overlapping passes while keeping the pad moving and monitoring heat.
  4. Stop before lifting the pad, wipe residue and inspect the result. Clean or change the pad between sections; do not force a stalled or heavily loaded pad against the paint.

Aftercare and maintenance

Disconnect power before cleaning or changing parts. Keep vents clear, remove polishing dust with a suitable dry cleaning method and store the machine in a dry place. Inspect the cord, battery, plate and pad before each use. Clean pads separately and never immerse the machine.

Does a dual-action polisher eliminate the risk of paint damage?

No. Paint condition, pad choice, pressure, heat and technique still matter. Start with a test spot and take extra care around body lines, thin paint, badges and small curved panels.
